Help, HElp, HELp, HELP!

Wed Feb 28 03:49pm

Kia ora whānau,

We desperately need your help to make our school fair a success. This fair benefits your children and their learning.

Class teachers have sent out letters requesting helpers on the night of the fair, along with volunteers to cook items beforehand.

Unfortunately, we are not getting a great turnout of volunteers, which makes our teacher’s tasks really challenging.

Please get in behind your child’s classroom teacher to assist on the night of the 15th of March. 30 min is all that is required, or more if you can offer.

All of our staff give up their night to get behind this for our kids and some are getting a little stressed as support is not forthcoming.

Please help us and FOS to help your children!

Madagascar The Musical will be playing during the April school holidays. See the attached for more info.

We are parents too, and know sometimes things can turn up that you think….”how long has that been at our place?” So for just this reason, next week we are having a school property amnesty.

Located in the library foyer will be some boxes that you can drop any school property into, no questions asked. We will return it to its rightful place.

Things you may have are:

Library Books
School readers (Journals or Junior reading books)
Sports uniforms
Spare uniform items your child has brought home due to messing up their own uniform.
Other children’s property (named so it gets back to them)
School sports gear
Classroom items – Scissors are a common one that somehow ends up at children’s homes.

Please drop it in and we will return it to its rightful place.

We thank you for your support!
